A new reputation is brewing. A unique mix of game-changing, commercial space-exploration companies, and legacy powerhouses is reinventing the one-of-a-kind flavor known as Florida’s Space Coast. Set against the backdrop of near-weekly rocket launches, legendary beaches, and eclectic downtowns, a question vexes the minds of a new generation of Space Coast locals:

And now, with the official Space Coast Beer Trail Passport, you are invited to join the mission to answer this important question. If you so choose to accept this mission and earn your Launches & Lagers Mission Patch, follow the instructions below for lift-off!

How to complete the official Space Coast Beer Trail Passport to earn your own Launches & Lagers Mission Patch: 

Pick up your passport at a participating location, or download our digital app, and start collecting stamps as you enjoy lagers (and more) along Florida’s Space Coast.

Catch at least one rocket launch and check it off in your passport with the date viewed. Check out the upcoming launch manifest below!

When your mission is complete, take the completed passport to the Space Coast’s Visitor Information Center to collect your mission patch or sticker at

Monday – Friday, 10 am to 6 pm

or email a picture of your completed passport to Marketing@VisitSpaceCoast.com with your name, mailing address and with a preference of “patch” or “sticker”

VEHICLE: SpaceX Falcon Heavy

MISSION: SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon Heavy rocket as part of the USSF-67 mission. The Falcon Heavy is a variant of the Falcon 9 full thrust launch vehicle and consists of a standard Falcon 9 rocket core, with two additional boosters derived from the Falcon 9 first stage.

LAUNCH SITE: Kennedy Space Center – LC-39A

LAUNCH WINDOW: 5:51pm

DATE: January 18, 2023

VEHICLE: SpaceX Falcon 9

MISSION: GPS-IIIA (Global Positioning System) is the first evolution stage of the third generation of the GPS satellites. It consists of the first ten (known as the “tranche”) of GPS III satellites.

LAUNCH SITE: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station – SLC 40

LAUNCH WINDOW: 7:00 am
